Claude connector

NJSTravel in Claude

Our connector lets Claude, Anthropic’s AI assistant, answer two questions from our data: what fee a US hotel says it charges on top of the room, and what rooms cost for your dates with every fee we know of counted.

Add it

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, find NJSTravel and press Connect. Or open our listing in the directory.

You can also add it yourself as a custom connector with this address:

There is no sign-in and nothing to pay.

What it does

Resort fees

Give it a hotel and its city, or just a city. For a hotel it returns the fee as the hotel’s own website states it, whether tax is added, what the fee covers, the hotel’s own sentence, the page it came from and the date we read it. For a city it returns how many hotels we checked, how many state a fee, how many state none and the range.

A hotel whose website said nothing we could confirm is reported as unconfirmed. That never means it charges no fee.

Hotel prices

Give it a US city or town, a ZIP code or an airport code, and your dates and guests. It returns up to ten hotels, lowest total first: the total for the stay with taxes, our fee and the hotel fees we know of included, the part paid when booking and the part the hotel collects, the cancellation terms, and a link to that hotel’s rooms on our site for the same stay.

Fresh prices are limited to 100 checks a day across everyone using the connector. Once they are used, it answers with prices already checked for the same stay, or with a link to the search on our site.

Things to ask

  • What is the resort fee at Wynn Las Vegas?
  • Which hotels in Honolulu charge no resort fee?
  • What do hotels in Las Vegas cost for November 13 to 15, two adults, with every fee counted?
  • ¿Cuánto cobran de resort fee los hoteles de Miami?

It answers in English or Spanish.

What it will not do

It cannot book, hold or pay for anything. Booking happens on our website, where you see the same price and the room’s full terms before you pay.

What it keeps

Claude sends us only what the question needs: a hotel’s name, a place, dates and the number of guests. We use them to answer and keep none of them. For each use we record which tool was used, how the answer ended, whether a fresh price check was made, the language and how long it took; never what was asked, and nothing that identifies you. Privacy policy

Our fees come from our resort fee dataset, each hotel read from its own website on a recorded date. Room prices come from our hotel supplier at the moment they are checked. How we read the fees
